Company Overview: A leading workforce development and learning & development (L&D) company is seeking an accomplished and driven Vice President of Sales to join their team. The company specializes in creating innovative e-learning platforms designed to help businesses upskill and advance their workforce.
Position Summary: As the Vice President of Sales, you will be responsible for leading the sales strategy, driving revenue growth, and expanding the company's market presence. You will work closely with the executive team to develop and execute sales plans, identify new business opportunities, and build strong relationships with key clients. This is a fully remote position, offering flexibility and the opportunity to work from anywhere in the United States.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
Lead, mentor, and manage the sales team, fostering a high-performance culture.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities, building and maintaining a robust sales pipeline.
Establish and nurture relationships with key decision-makers in target industries.
Collaborate with marketing and product teams to align sales strategies with business objectives.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to refine sales approaches.
Prepare and present sales forecasts, reports, and performance metrics to the executive team.
Drive continuous improvement in sales processes, tools, and methodologies.
Qualifications:
Proven track record of success in a senior sales leadership role, preferably within the e-learning, workforce development, or L&D industry.
Strong understanding of B2B sales processes and strategies.
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to analyze market trends and develop effective sales strategies.
Proficient in CRM software and other sales tools.
Highly motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently in a remote environment.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
Benefits:
Competitive base salary of $170,000 with an OTE of $350,000.
