About The Role

The VP of Product will be responsible for strategy and development of TRR technology products at an exciting time within the company and the market. Reporting directly to the CPTO, this role offers high visibility and the opportunity to drive major product successes. This executive is the ultimate product owner and will drive the vision and roadmap for all technology products. The Vice President will be responsible for establishing the company’s product development road map; understanding the needs of the company’s diverse set of customers and users and will work closely with the company’s development, sales, marketing and support teams.

  • Define product vision, strategy, and roadmap in support of the overall company goals and objectives.
  • Develop a team of world-class product managers, providing guidance and direction to deliver the product vision and strategy.
  • Partner closely with your stakeholders in Operations, Marketing, Merchandising and Sales to execute near-term priorities while remaining aligned on longer term product roadmaps and future state vision.
  • Present new technology product ideas to the leadership team with clearly defined value proposition, market validation, and ROI assessment.
  • Own, manage and communicate progress against our dynamic product roadmaps.
  • Be the champion of end-users (external & internal). Incorporate client and user feedback to advance the product, improve the user experience while.
  • Guide the team to work closely with internal users, stakeholders and your UX and engineering partners to gather requirements and build business cases for potential investment opportunities.
  • Lead efforts to proactively and effectively identify, address and resolve issues impacting our technology product roadmaps.
  • Track competitive marketplace and industry trends with the goal of developing a product roadmap that keeps the company’s technology products at the forefront of the retail luxury industry.
  • Conduct market research to understand trends that we should be considering when updating our product roadmap or product strategy.
  • Create vision documents for products, and collaborate with your UX partners to develop prototypes and wireframes to clearly communicate product requirements.
  • Hire, manage, retain and elevate the capabilities of the product team as we scale.
  • Develop long-term product roadmap designed to enter new markets, as well as drive sales of existing products and strengthen the Company’s leading market position.

What You Bring To The Role

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 10+ years’ experience in managing high-performing product teams at a manager of managers level.
  • 10+ years of building and optimizing internally developed technology products in the areas of two-sided marketplaces, B2C ecommerce and digital marketing.
  • 10+ years of relevant domain experience in the areas of two-sided marketplaces, B2C ecommerce and digital marketing.
  • A proven track record of success conceptualizing, developing and bringing to market innovative technology solutions and new feature enhancements which have had a positive impact on a company’s P&L.
  • A proven track record of building and developing high performing product teams.
  • Ability to effectively collaborate with major clients, sales prospects, users and stakeholders
  • Comfortability in high growth organizations
  • A hands-on leader, the ideal candidate will possess experience suited to an entrepreneurial and collaborative growth-oriented environment
  • Fluency in analytics; Ability to demonstrate ROI of new product initiatives
  • Strategic mind-set with a passion for product delivery and user experience

  • Advanced degree (MBA)

The expected salary range for this role is $290,000-$310,000. To determine starting pay we carefully consider a variety of factors, including primary work location and an evaluation of a candidate’s skills, experience, market demands, and internal parity. Additionally, salary is just one component of TRR’s total rewards package. Depending on role, employees may also be eligible for a bonus program, incentive pay and benefits.
