Vice President, Product Integrity

Responsible for communicating product performance, reliability, and safety requirements to ensure that the product meets the expectations of the team, upper management, Jazwares customers and ultimately the consumer. In addition, he or she recommends options in the effort to comply with product performance requirements, and identifies risks and consequences associated with noncompliance. The Vice President, Product Integrity is involved early in the design phase to provide specific input, identify product quality and safety issues that may affect feasibility decisions. Their involvement continuous throughout the development cycle and well into production by providing appropriate feedback, recommending design alternatives, evaluating product for potential performance, reliability, or safety issues as well as monitoring consumer feeding back for potential product improvements. The Vice President, Product Integrity requires a working knowledge of existing worldwide toy safety regulations as well as own internal Standard Operating procedures and performance and reliability guidelines and must stay abreast of regulatory developments to and make appropriate recommendations to their teams.

What you will do:

• Identify and communicate significant quality or safety related issues to the cross functional team
• at all phases of the product development cycle.
• Develop and maintain a product specification that integrate performance, reliability, and global
• safety requirements, and that considers team’s cost and schedule objectives as well as
• consumer expectations.
• Provide meaningful and appropriate recommendations that promote product improvements
• and specification compliance.
• Perform product testing for safety and reliability.
• Develop qualification requirements for downstream stages of testing.
• Coordinate internal and external testing as required and planned for the development stage.
• Maintain records and technical files for projects.
• Analyze customer return and complaints, and issue and monitor corrective action requests to
• address root cause.
• Ensure that packaging labelling specifications for new toys are met and interact with the
• packaging department as required.
• Stay abreast of changing global, region-specific regulations, standards, and retailer requirements
• to anticipate potential impacts to processes or products.
• Perform training to other departments as required.
• Other tasks as assigned related to the domain knowledge of QA and the toy, costume, and pet
• product industries.
  
  

What we look for:

• Engineering background is a plus, but technical in toy product integrity is a must.
• Bacherlors preferred
• 5-10 years experience

What We Offer:

At Jazwares, we believe in providing our employees with comprehensive and competitive benefits that support their well-being and overall satisfaction.The salary range for this position is $180,000 /Yr. Base salary may vary based on experience, role tenure, performance, industry, and location. Eligibility for annual performance incentives may apply. Jazwares is a multi-state employer, salary range may not apply to other states.
