Vice President - Sales (Pure Commission Based)

Overview

The Vice President of Sales plays a pivotal role in driving the company's sales strategy, leading sales teams, and achieving revenue targets. They provide strategic direction and leadership for the sales function, ensuring alignment with the overall business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets
  • Lead and mentor a high-performing sales team
  • Drive sales productivity and performance through effective coaching and performance management
  • Collaborate with marketing to align sales and marketing strategies
  • Identify and pursue new market opportunities
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners
  • Analyze sales data and provide insights to inform strategic decision-making
  • Set and monitor sales KPIs and metrics
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies
  • Contribute to the development of sales training programs
  • Participate in the development of pricing strategies
  • Represent the company at industry events and conferences
  • Prepare and present sales reports to senior management
  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the sales function
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless customer experience

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred
  • Proven experience in a senior sales leadership role
  • Demonstrated track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
  • Strong understanding of sales processes and methodologies
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities
  • In-depth knowledge of CRM and sales management software
  • Ability to analyze complex sales data and derive actionable insights
  • Experience in developing and implementing comprehensive sales strategies
  • Proven negotiation and conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
  • Strong business acumen and market awareness
  • Ability to travel as needed
  • Certification in sales management or related field is a plus
