WHY INTERN WITH REBEL

We are building an app for the future of music. In the process we have discovered key insights into how various platforms operate in the attention economy. We have distilled these insights into a framework which we are applying to our video editing. This framework is a leap forward in driving engagement for any brand, person or idea. The insights and experience you gain working at Rebel will last throughout your career.

VIDEO EDITING INTERNSHIP TRACK

500 hours of video are uploaded every minute to YouTube. Obtaining a persons attention has become harder than ever. The optimized editing of video to obtain attention has become the most valuable skill in marketing. During your intership you will be trained on how to utilize video editing to optimize content. You will apply the framework we discovered while building our platform. Our interns and internal team will meet weekly to discuss what is working well. There are no set hours, just assigned tasks to help you maximize your potential.

OUR TRACK RECORD

We are just starting to focus on marketing. Since our inception we have focused our time on building the Rebel platform. The Rebel platform transforms music distribution, consumption and publishing in a way that generates more money for artists and includes virtually all music for fans. People who have seen our technology are eagerly awaiting it's release. Because of this...we are shifting our focus from building to marketing. It's time to let more people know we exist.

IS IT PAID OR UNPAID?

We have chosen to make our internship unpaid. 

We are looking for people that want to become excellent, not people that believe they already are excellent.

The focus of the internship is your growth. We are looking to train people that want to gain valuable experience and grow within the music industry. You do not need any prior video editing experience. We will provide virtually everything you need. The one thing we cannot provide for you is DRIVE.

LOGISTICS & DISCLAIMERS

- Interns will work remotely.

- You may be invited to join us at our studio in downtown New York. 

- Participation in our internship program is not a prerequisite for employment at Rebel. 

- We are happy to complete any documentation needed by your university for course credit.

REVIEW & RECOMMENDATIONS

At the end of your internship you will meet with our executive team to review your experience. We will also ask for feedback on your experience working at Rebel. We will provide you with a recommendation letter.
