Video Editing Internship

Dominari Securities is looking for a video production intern with a passion for every facet of production, from conceptual pre-production to finishing touches in post. Responsibilities

• Edit video footage and add effects/elements to enhance motion graphics
• Ensure logical sequencing and smooth running of final videos
• Trim footage segments and put together the sequence into a storytelling
• Input music, dialogues, graphics, and effects
• Continuously discover and implement new editing technologies and industry’s best practices to maximize efficiency

Requirements:

• Edit and refine video content to meet the brand, messaging, and objectives of each client and strategy.
• Existing experience/knowledge with videography/filmmaking, video editing, graphic design, animation, or coordinating video productions
• Passion for storytelling and using creativity to effectively capture video content
• Strong interest in digital media and journalism
• Major in Film, Media studies, digital animations or a related field
• Proficient in Adobe tools including Premier pro and Adobe After Effects
• Basic working knowledge of social media platforms including LinkedIn and Youtube

Qualifications

• Educational Background – Bachelor's degree in Film, Media Production, Digital Animations or a related field or equivalent experience.
• Technical Proficiency - Skilled in industry-standard video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, and After Effects. Graphic software including photoshop and illustrator. Understanding of 2D and 3D animation is plus
• Storytelling Prowess – Ability to weave intricate ideas into engaging and coherent visual narratives. A portfolio showcasing is advantageous.
• Up-to-Date Knowledge – Awareness of the latest trends and best practices in video production and the marketing field.
• Soft Skills - Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work well in collaborative environments and interact effectively with both team members and other department members

• Analytical Thinking – Ability to interpret performance analytics to suggest content enhancements and strategy improvements.

Internship Details:

• Duration: Immediate for 3 months
• Hours: Onsite Full-time, 40 hours per week; M-F
