Introduction

We are seeking a talented and versatile Video Editor with a strong interest in animation to support our creative marketing team. This individual will collaborate with our creative team, marketers, editorial staff, and social media teams, delivering video content that aligns with brand guidelines and project objectives. With expertise in the latest trends in live action and motion graphics, the Video Editor will craft and video content that supports our marketing growth efforts. The Video Editor will work closely with the Creative Director, EVP Marketing, and Editorial teams to uphold the highest standards of video content across a variety of marketing deliverables including streaming ad content, social, OOH, and broadcast TVC.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $82,500.00 - $101,600.00. It is not typical for offers to be made at or near the top of the range. Rather, salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered.

  • Please note this opportunity is located in NYC. The hired candidate will be required to work from our NYC office several days per week.

Accountabilities

  • Edit and produce high-quality video content for various platforms, including promotional videos, social media, and digital advertising
  • Create and integrate motion graphics into video projects, enhancing storytelling and visual appeal
  • Develop animated assets for out-of-home (OOH) advertising, such as taxi screens, elevator displays, and animated billboards
  • Collaborate closely with the creative team, marketers, editorial staff, and social media teams to ensure cohesive and effective video content
  • Work with marketing leadership to align video content with broader marketing strategies and goals
  • Maintain a high standard of quality and consistency in all video outputs, adhering to brand guideline

Experience, Skills And Professional Attributes

  • 5+ years of proven experience as a Video Editor with a global brand, production house or agency, with a strong portfolio showcasing a range of video projects
  • Proficiency in Adobe Premiere and other video editing software
  • Experience with motion graphics and animation
  • Strong storytelling abilities with an eye for detail and visual aesthetics
  • Interest in generative AI technology and its application in video production
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced, high-volume media environment
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment and across various teams
