Position Summary:

Are you passionate about crafting visually stunning and engaging videos, particularly in the cooking and product review spaces? We’re seeking an experienced Video Editor to join our marketing team and help us create compelling content for YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in editing cooking content and product reviews, with experience working with major creators or influencers.

Responsibilities:

• Edit High-Quality Videos: Transform raw footage into polished, engaging video content focusing on cooking demonstrations and product reviews.
• Content Creation: Edit and produce video content tailored for YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok, ensuring alignment with platform-specific best practices and audience preferences.
• Collaborate with Creators: Work closely with influencers, major creators, and internal teams to produce content that resonates with large audiences and showcases our products effectively.
• Storytelling and Narrative: Utilize your strong narrative skills to craft compelling stories from video footage, maintaining the brand voice and delivering engaging content. Emphasis on retention editing techniques common with social media assets (paid and organic).
• Technical Expertise: Manage all aspects of video editing, including color correction, sound design, and motion graphics (using tools like Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Photoshop). Open to relevant experience with Davinci Resolve (major plus to have deep experience utilizing Davinci for color grading).
• Trend Awareness: Stay current with social media trends, particularly in cooking and product review content, to keep our videos fresh and relevant.
• Project Management: Handle multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines while ensuring high-quality results.

Qualities:

• Cooking and Product Review Experience: Demonstrated experience in editing cooking content or product reviews, with a portfolio showcasing your work in these areas.
• Major Creator Experience: Experience working with or creating content for major social media influencers or creators with significant followings (2 million+ followers). Experience building a large following is a plus.
• Social Media Savvy: Deep understanding of video content creation and optimization for YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok.
• Creative Skills: Ability to develop innovative video concepts and execute them with high attention to detail.
• Technical Proficiency: Expert in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop), with experience in motion graphics and video enhancement.

Requirements:

• Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in video editing, with a focus on cooking content, product reviews, and social media platforms.
• Portfolio: Must provide a portfolio demonstrating your work in cooking videos, product reviews, and experience with major creators or influencers.
• Education: Degree in Film, Video Production, Marketing, or a related field preferred, but relevant experience is highly valued.
