Job Description: We are seeking a talented and motivated Editor/Animator proficient in Premiere Pro to join our creative team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in video editing, motion graphics design, and animation, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for storytelling. You will collaborate with our team to produce high-quality video content for various platforms, including social media, web, and broadcast.

Key Responsibilities:

• Edit and assemble raw footage into polished videos using Adobe Premiere Pro.
• Design and animate motion graphics to enhance video content.
• Collaborate with writers, producers, and other team members to create engaging and persuasive media.
• Ensure all video content aligns with the firm’s branding and messaging guidelines.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting tight deadlines.
• Incorporate feedback from team members and clients to refine and improve content.
• Stay current with industry trends and best practices in video editing and motion graphics.

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro.
• Strong skills in motion graphics design and animation.
• Experience with other Adobe Creative Suite software, such as After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
• Excellent storytelling and visual communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• A passion for progressive politics and a commitment to advancing Democratic values.
• Experience in a political or advocacy environment.
• Knowledge of social media platforms and best practices for video content.
• Basic understanding of sound design, color correction and how to communicate with relevant vendors.
