Video Editor / Production Assistant

Responsibilities Include, But Not Limited To

• Working with 4k raw footage to create polished videos ready for YouTube, YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, and Facebook. This includes video editing, color correction, color grading, formatting, cropping, text/logo overlays, audio mixing, and simple graphic overlays.
• Managing and organizing raw and edited video and photo content across project bins, hard drives, Brandfolder, and Google Drive.
• Ability to create simple and complex motion graphics for various projects— a plus if you have experience in this area.
• Staying up to date on current social media and industry trends, incorporating innovative techniques to keep our content fresh and relevant.
• Maintaining and organizing multiple projects, ensuring an efficient editing workflow to meet tight deadlines, with the ability to pivot on short notice.
• Working closely with internal departments to accomplish various tasks and projects related to video production.
• Operating and maintaining Sony/Canon DSLR cameras is a plus.
• Understanding all areas of video production, from pre-production to post-production, including technical knowledge of studio and on-location setups (lighting, audio equipment, etc.).
  
  

Qualifications

• 2+ years of advanced knowledge of Premiere Pro and 4k workflow. Experience with DaVinci Resolve is a plus but not required.
• Experience in video editing, color correction, color grading, formatting, cropping, text/logo overlays, audio mixing, and simple graphic overlays.
• Strong storytelling abilities that engage, entertain, and evoke emotion in video content.
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Suite (Sheets, Docs, etc.).
• Basic understanding of camera operation and maintenance, especially with Sony/Canon DSLR cameras.
• Have a valid driver’s license and be willing to assist on video production shoots in the studio or on location (camera operation, production assistance, and driving for rolling shots).
• Ability to work independently, take initiative, and be self-motivated.
• Excellent project management and organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects, set priorities, and meet deadlines.
• Strong problem-solving skills to tackle challenges and deliver high-quality work.
