About Us: We are seeking a Remote School Psychologist to deliver essential psychological services to students across Texas schools through a virtual platform. This position is perfect for a dynamic and skilled psychologist passionate about leveraging technology to support and enhance student mental health and academic success.
Key Responsibilities
Student Assessments: Conduct virtual psychological evaluations to assess students' cognitive, emotional, and behavioral needs.
Intervention Planning: Develop and implement personalized intervention strategies to address individual student needs, fostering educational and social development.
Counseling Services: Deliver direct counseling sessions to students using telehealth technologies, addressing various mental health concerns and promoting positive behavioral changes.
Collaborative Teamwork: Collaborate closely with school staff, including teachers and administrators, to integrate psychological services into the educational framework.
Crisis Intervention: Respond to and manage student crises by providing appropriate psychological support and interventions.
Program Development: Assist in developing and evaluating mental health programs to ensure effectiveness and alignment with student needs.
Qualifications
Education: Master's or Doctoral degree in Psychology, specializing in school psychology.
Certification: Must be licensed or eligible for licensure as a School Psychologist in Texas.
Experience: Minimum of two years of experience in school psychology, preferably including remote service delivery.
Skills: Proficient in digital assessment tools, virtual counseling techniques, and strong communication skills.
Personal Attributes: Ethical, empathetic, and dedicated to promoting student well-being and academic achievement.
Work Environment
Remote Position: Fully online role, requiring a secure and private home office setup suitable for professional consultations and meetings.
Flexible Hours: Some flexibility in hours to accommodate the needs of students across different time zones within Texas.
