Job Summary:
We are seeking experienced professionals to provide virtual wellness training to the 19th SFG(A) community, including SOF Operators, Enablers, and Family members. The training will consist of two modules, each comprising four sessions delivered over Zoom. Each session will include 1 hour of Performance Therapy virtual education followed by a 30-minute Q&A session. The aim is to enhance the physical and mental well-being of the participants through specialized training tailored to their unique requirements and experiences.
Responsibilities:
Develop and deliver two modules of virtual wellness training sessions (4 sessions per module) tailored to the needs of SOF Operators, Enablers, and Family members
Present 1-hour Performance Therapy virtual education sessions, covering topics such as physical fitness, mental health, nutrition, and lifestyle management
Conduct a 30-minute Q&A session after each education session to address participant questions and provide further guidance
Schedule training sessions in coordination with the unit, ensuring mutual availability
Meet the specified requirements for clinicians, including a minimum of 100 hours of operator syndrome training, operator-specific neuroscience, research review and discussion, clinical supervision of operator clients, and telehealth experience with National Guard Soldiers in SOF MOSs/units
Demonstrate expertise in mental health (Psy-D, LCSW, and/or LMHC-S), occupational therapy (MOT or OTD with advanced certifications), registered dietetics (Bachelor's or Master's degree with clinical experience), or physical therapy (DPT with clinical experience)
Possess a minimum of 500 hours of clinical experience within the relevant field, with at least 100 hours of clinical experience with Green Berets/Rangers
Provide training on topics such as physical movement, mental health, communication, nutrition, and lifestyle management, as specified in the training outline
Requirements:
Relevant professional qualifications and certifications based on the specific role (Psy-D, LCSW, LMHC-S, MOT, OTD, Registered Dietitian, or DPT)
Extensive experience working with National Guard Soldiers in SOF MOSs/units
Strong knowledge and experience in the designated field (mental health, occupational therapy, registered dietetics, or physical therapy)
Ability to deliver virtual training sessions effectively using Zoom or similar platforms
