Be able to walk through the plant and identify where a VoIP phone should be located and what network cabinet to connect to. A project of main focus will be migrating this site from a PBX environment to a VoIP environment. Be comfortable with Telephony acronyms as well as general networking terms. Have the ability to physically walk a large facility, rack mount network devices, and have a high safety awareness of surroundings.
Past experience in the telephony area is required.
Occasional Overtime will be needed, and some weekend work.
The candidate will also have the ability to support a senior network engineer and assist as necessary.
A Network + certification is desired.
Candidate must have excellent communications skills, attention to detail and the ability to be self-motivated.
