VoIP Technician, VoIP Engineer, Voice Engineer

Preferred Experience:

• Experience working in a Cisco network/Telecomm Environment preferred
• Experience working with Cisco, Avaya, Siemens, or Role systems a plus
• Telecommunications systems administration principles
• Provide customer support for VoIP systems such as Cisco IP Phone endpoints.
• Repair and perform preventative maintenance on systems
• Perform network and telecommunications system incident investigation.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, document, and repair network devices including phone systems, call
• managers, network infrastructure, and trunk circuits.

Responsibilities:

• Provides technical support to County employees using various telecommunications and network systems.
• Provide technical support to County employees using Cisco VoIP endpoints.
• Coordinating with vendors and customers for VoIP phone installations or service break fixes.
• Designs, configures, tests, implements, inventory, and maintains a variety of hardware, software, peripheral devices, and systems.
• Monitors and ensures systems meet business and performance needs
• Technical implementation of telecommunications and network infrastructures.
• Troubleshoot technical problems with the critical systems, servers, and equipment within a 24/7/365
• Data Center environment, handling the more complex and critical problems. Responds to system emergencies as required.
• Performs other duties of a similar nature or level.
