VP, Construction

RETS Associates has been retained by its client, a national commercial real estate fund manager, to find a talented Construction Management VP for their Atlanta, GA corporate office. The Construction VP will be responsible for managing 20+ TI and Cap-Ex projects across 30 markets, and the VP will be instrumental in helping to grow and maximize profitability for the national platform of industrial assets! This role will require a 40% travel load, with both local and national travel.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage and execute all phases of capital expenditures related to the general cap-ex, make-ready, and tenant improvements for existing assets and new development.
• Support the Leasing team by developing budgets for proposed TI projects and detailed scopes of work for lease documents.
• Prepare comprehensive scopes of work and manage design and execution of projects such as “value add” conversion projects across the spectrum.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Completed 4-year degree (preferably in architecture, engineering or construction management)
• 8-10 years of experience managing large-scale TI and Cap-Ex projects nationally
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Industrial/distribution/warehouse asset experience is REQUIRED
