Position Overview

We are in search of an accomplished and visionary Vice President of Customer Operations to join our dynamic team. Reporting directly to the CEO, the VP of Customer Operations will be instrumental in steering operational excellence across our customer service organization, clinical operations, and pharmaceutical operations. This pivotal role requires a seasoned leader with a track record of optimizing processes, enhancing productivity, and fostering seamless coordination between departments to support our rapid growth trajectory.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operational Strategy Development: Collaborate with the executive team to craft and execute strategic initiatives aligned with company objectives. Drive operational excellence by identifying areas for improvement and implementing innovative solutions.
  • Leadership and Team Management: Provide strong leadership and mentorship to the customer service, clinical operations, and pharmaceutical operations teams. Cultivate a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Customer Service Optimization: Oversee the customer service organization to ensure exceptional service delivery and customer satisfaction. Implement strategies to elevate the customer experience and foster long-term relationships.
  • Clinical Operations Management: Direct the clinical operations team in executing trials, studies, and research projects efficiently and compliantly. Implement best practices to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Pharmaceutical Operations Oversight: Lead the pharmaceutical operations team in managing production, supply chain, and distribution processes. Drive efficiency enhancements, cost optimization, and quality assurance initiatives.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Foster collaboration and communication between departments to streamline processes and optimize resource allocation. Ensure alignment and synergy across the organization.
  • Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Develop and implement key performance indicators (KPIs) to track operational performance and measure success. Analyze data regularly and prepare comprehensive reports for senior management.
  • Risk Management and Compliance: Identify potential risks and compliance issues within operations and develop mitigation strategies. Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, industry standards, and company policies.

Qualifications

  • Proven leadership experience in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, particularly in startups.
  • Extensive background in operational management, with a focus on complex logistics and customer service operations.
  • Demonstrated success in leading large-scale customer service organizations (1000+ FTE).
  • Strong strategic planning and problem-solving abilities, with a knack for driving operational excellence and process improvements.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities, including team building, coaching, and talent development.
  • Ability to thrive in a complex regulatory environment and adapt to evolving startup dynamics.
  • Passion for innovation and driving positive change within the organization.
