We are looking for an experienced VP IT, reporting to the CFO, to oversee the use of information technology in our company. The VP IT devises the company’s IT strategy and ensures that all systems necessary to support its internal operations and objectives are in place.
Set objectives and strategies for the IT department.
Select and implement cost effective technology to streamline internal operations and enhance operational efficiency.
Design and customize technology systems and platforms to improve customer(s) experience.
Plan and implementation of new systems and provide guidance to IT professionals and other staff within the organization.
Oversee the technology infrastructure (networks and computer systems) in the organization to ensure responsive and useful services.
Monitor changes or advantages in technology to discover ways the company can gain competitive advantage(s).
Work with all functional areas within the company to support their internal and external requirements.
Operate the IT functional area within best of class performance for all expenditures – capital and operational expenditures.
5+ years’ experience as VP IT or similar managerial role.
BS/BA in computer science or relevant field; MBA preferable.
Background in designing/developing IT systems and planning systems implementations.
Background in application architecture, reporting, designing ERP solutions such as Oracle, SAP, Peoplesoft, Workday
Background as a Director of Security or CISO or leading the security function.
Background leading infrastructure teams (Cloud, 365, SSO, Data Center Management).
Experience with Sales Platforms such as Salesforce or Oracle.
Experience with BI platforms such as Oracle, Power BI, Tableau
Strong interpersonal skills.
Appetite for learning.
