The Role
As the VP of Finance, reporting directly to our EVP/CFO, you'll join our Leadership Team as a pivotal driver of our asset liability management and treasury functions. We're seeking a visionary leader with exceptional emotional intelligence and communication skills to inspire and motivate our team towards excellence. As a member of the Leadership Team, you'll embody our core values, foster collaboration, and drive our vision and mission forward.
What You'll Do
Monitor interest rate, credit, and portfolio risk status, and set limitations as required for Asset/Liability Management. Identify opportunities to reduce interest rate risk and sensitivity. Provide detailed ALCO and Investment reports to Executive Management. Update ALM policies in accordance with NCUA rules and regulations.
Manage and optimize the investment and borrowing portfolios of the credit union to achieve liquidity needs, above-average earnings, and safeguard the assets of the credit union. Optimize pricing of deposits and loan products.
Oversee budget planning, preparation, and administration processes to control operating expenses and achieve the credit union's strategic objectives.
Oversee all required regulatory reporting to ensure compliance in the most cost-effective manner and minimize legal liabilities.
Evaluate and interpret statistical and financial reporting to provide management information useful for decision-making.
Who You Are
Creative, energetic, and results-oriented with a passion for driving innovation.
Technologically savvy and eager to embrace new advancements in finance.
Hold a bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field (CPA or MBA preferred).
Bring at least 10 years of professional financial analysis and management of fiscal control and profitability.
