• Assess current technology platforms and operations, seeking continuous improvement.
• Lead the identification, evaluation, and implementation of innovative software and PropTech solutions that enhance resident experiences, operational efficiencies, and asset performance across our portfolio.
• Lead transformative technology projects that elevate the end-user experience.
  
  

Your Role As Technology Expert

• Evaluate and enhance cybersecurity practices to ensure they scale effectively with our organization.
• Ensure scalability, reliability, security, and compliance of IT systems and infrastructure.
• Select and manage external technology and software partners to support our strategic goals.
• Monitor and report on IT performance metrics and KPIs to measure effectiveness and efficiency.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies.
  
  

Your Role As Team Leader

• Foster cross-departmental collaboration to optimize organizational efficiency.
• Ensure the effectiveness and responsiveness of our help desk services, providing timely resolution of technical issues and exceptional customer support to internal stakeholders.
• Collaborate closely with the training department to develop and implement a comprehensive training and adoption strategy for our software platforms.
• Provide strong leadership and direction to the IT and software services team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
• Lead with a servant leadership mentality, fostering a culture of exceptional customer service.

Key Skills and Abilities Needed to Succeed in This Role:

• Proven track record of at least 10 years in progressively responsible IT leadership roles, ideally within the real estate or property management industry, or a related field.
• Bachelor’s degree in related fields is required.
• Experience in multifamily platforms, such as RealPage and Yardi, is required.
• Experience in managing complex IT projects and initiatives that drive business growth and operational efficiency.
• Experience with technology infrastructure management, cybersecurity practices, and IT governance.
• Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with senior leadership, department heads, and external partners.
• Experience in managing IT budgets, vendor relationships, and contract negotiations.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to data privacy, security, and compliance.
