VP of Marketing Position Summary


We are seeking an experienced SaaS marketing leader with deep experience using high-quality educational content, strategic product marketing, and efficient demand generation to measurably drive new business. To be an excellent candidate, you'll have experience leading marketing at a B2B SaaS organization through a growth stage to $20M ARR. You’ll possess a unique ability to clarify complex ideas, build a productive team,  and combine your experience with data to focus on the most impactful marketing strategies.


Key Responsibilities


  • Own the prospect journey from the development of targeted campaigns to lead hand-off to inside sales
  • Grow qualified demos every quarter with an efficient budget
  • Build reputation, credibility and awareness of Oryx Dental Software
  • Lead efforts to acquire new B2B customers by developing and executing effective integrated marketing campaigns and lead generation strategies. 
  • Drive top-of-funnel growth through digital inbound and account-based outbound marketing efforts across all channels—including website, digital advertising, email, paid industry programs, webinars, events, social media, direct mail, sponsorships, interviews, trade shows, and outbound BDRs.
  • Lead our marketing operations and develop and implement strategy to build a scalable marketing engine. You’ll create plans, focus and prioritize tactics, and report on progress toward goals. You’ll also establish marketing goals based on past performance, market forecasts, and expected ROI. 
  • Lead and develop a diverse team, including internal team members, contractors, and agencies; effectively managing resources for campaigns, events, digital advertising, creative development, and other projects.
  • Coordinate closely with Sales, Product, CS and our CEO to share knowledge, gather insights and stay aligned on ideal prospects. 
  • use deep customer knowledge to create messaging and campaigns that strongly resonate with our ideal customers, promote our product and increase our visibility in the market.



About you


  • 5+ years in demand generation and marketing programs in B2B software 
  • 3+ years in executive, managerial, or people leadership capacities
  • Strong project manager with the ability to manage several workflows simultaneously
  • Successful track record in creating and executing integrated campaigns
  • Experience with managing digital ads (LinkedIn, Google, etc) and SEO execution
  • Experience with managing ABM programs and platforms for targeting large dental groups
  • Analytical mindset; ability to review metrics and make recommendations for improvements
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills. Proven ability to communicate at many levels –conceptually and tactically – including strategies, messaging, plans, activities, metrics, etc.
  • Creativity around how prospects and customers are engaged to feed A/B testing and continuous improvement
  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on expertise with Hubspot
  • Must be ambitious, curious, execution-oriented, supportive, and have a “can-do” attitude
