Summary
Under minimal supervision, develop new business opportunities for MultiMedical Systems. This is a selling leadership role. You will target new accounts and close deals while managing a team of 6. The VP of Sales will assist leadership with the development and implementation of a robust business development process that will further define our growth strategy, enhance sales and customer satisfaction, develop new business, both organically and through acquisitions.
Responsibilities
Close new business by leveraging networking and cold outreach efforts
Recruit, hire, train/manage sales personnel who work remotely
Qualify new business and understand what opportunities align best with our services offerings
Participate in GTM acquisition studies and develop financial feasibility studies
Collaborate with the sales team to research, initiate proposals, close deals, and the participation in the contract negotiation/creation process
Partner with the leadership team to align business development strategies with the vision for growth
Manage accounts in a manner that ensures that customer needs are understood and met. Always think about ways expand service offerings within existing accounts
Track account activities and make sure there's a consistent/thoughtful follow up process
Analyze organizational strengths and weaknesses and then combine these with knowledge of the industry, market and organization to develop long-term strategy
Attend healthcare conferences and events to network with potential buyers in-person
Qualifications
Bachelors Required, Masters Preferred
Relevant 7-10 years business development leadership experience
The ideal candidate will have an existing book of business and contact to bring to MMS
Able to travel up to 40-50% to customer facilities
Healthcare Technology Management experience
