POSITION SUMMARY:

The Sago Program Manager will be a liaison between Sago and its Client, having institutional knowledge of both companies, acting with an impartiality that makes it so nobody knows whose business card the Program Manager carries. Responsible for ensuring there's high quality and timely communications and deliverables between the program's team members and our Client's main POCs. Provides strategic analysis and recommendations to optimize the team's performance and processes.

This is a remote role.

KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Collaborates with VPs of Recruiting and Project Management to understand the current systems and processes of our Client Partner
  • Drives a customer-centric approach that's centered on operational efficiencies and communications excellence
  • Demonstrates exceptional leadership and a commitment to strengthening the integration and collaboration between Sago and the Client teams to maximize the effectiveness of the unified team
  • Effectively communicates to both Client's and Sago's leadership teams the status of the day-to-day business activities within the team, ensuring they remain aligned with all Client strategic and business priorities
  • Thought partner who provides senior level direction and recommendations to Team leads and Client's POCs to optimize program efficiencies and effectiveness
  • Owns weekly status report, working closely with Sago's Program Analyst, QCing contributions from Client leads for accuracy and quality
  • Owns leadership of program's workbook; pulls appropriate leadership-facing material from program's workbook
  • QCs all Client-facing deliverables from Sago for alignment with Client's business needs
  • Collaborates with Team leads to identify potential optimization opportunities, ensuring they are operationalized and aligned with Client's business needs
  • Assists with authoring of deliverables as needed
  • Assists with large scope optimization projects as bandwidth allows
  • Other duties as assigned

CORE COMPETENCIES:

  • Proven leadership skills in operations, preferably project management and recruitment in the area of qualitative consumer research
  • Ability to inspire and manage staff performance, growth and development
  • Detail-oriented and adept at managing multiple initiatives simultaneously
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as with a team
  • Ability to manage a P&L of several million dollars in business, including KPI tracking, revenue & profit targets, customer satisfaction metrics
  • Ability to understand and interpret complex datasets to make business decisions, both for day-to-day operations as well as for the strategic direction of the program


Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelors' degree or equivalent experience required

Experience:

  • 15+ years' experience in market research
