Job Description

We are seeking a visionary and entrepreneurial VP R&D to lead our technological department. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional with a deep understanding of marketplace platforms and a proven track record in entrepreneurship and driving product development from concept to launch. 

What are we looking for?

- Lead the R&D department, translating business goals into technological strategies and product roadmaps.

- Build and manage a high-performing tech team.

- Drive innovation, continuously improving our platform to enhance user experience and operational efficiency.

- Collaborate closely with co-founders to align technology initiatives with business objectives.

- Oversee the entire product development lifecycle, from ideation to deployment.

- Ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of our platform.

Qualifications

- 7+ years of experience in R&D leadership roles, preferably within marketplace platforms, and entrepreneurial experience.

- Proven ability to lead a tech team and manage complex projects.

- Strong entrepreneurial spirit with a passion for building and scaling products.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset.

- Experience with platforms serving multiple user types is highly desirable.
