Warehouse and Supply Chain Manager
Summary
Responsible for the procurement of medical equipment and supplies for Houston Warehouse facility, maintaining inventory levels, and ensuring efficient supply operations across global field operational sites, ensuring compliance with local legislation and maintaining strict quality control. Supervision and management of the Warehouse Manager and Supply Chain Analysts.

Language Skills
Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos. Ability to write correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Ability to understand and work with IT regarding shipping software.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT
The physical demands and work environment described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. This position is in a standard warehouse environment with desktop business equipment and frequent telephone calls. Noise level is moderate. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand for long periods of time.
The employee must constantly reach with hands and fingers. Employee must be able to work in close contact with small and large groups. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, unassisted. Frequent hearing and talking is required. Extensive keyboard typing is required.

Supervision and management of the Warehouse Manager and Supply Chain Analysts.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Management of day-to-day warehouse operations, receiving, warehousing, and distribution
- Quality control of outbound shipments
- Advise team on shipping logistics to ensure timely and accurate deliveries to the customer.
- Responsible for Warehouse procedures and layout, bin management and lot and expiration tracking
- Development of warehouse systems
- Complies with federal, state, and local warehousing, material handling, and shipping requirements by understanding existing and new legislation, adhering to requirements, and advising the team on necessary actions.
- Safeguard warehouse operations and contents by closely monitoring security procedures and protocols in line with industry standard and client requirements.
- Controls inventory levels by supervising physical counts, reconciling with data storage systems.
- Maintains physical condition of warehouse by inspecting equipment, issuing work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement.
- Designs, develops and manages shipment of all internal and external medical kits for both customer and end user purposes.
- Manage procurement of warehouse supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels to meet monthly field supply requests.
- Management, training and mentoring of Supply Chain team, ensuring accurate and timely procurement of supplies.
- Maintaining a physical presence in the Warehouse, and other duties as required.
- Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations.
- Knowledge or purchase ordering, stock management and warehouse management systems (preferable).
- Intermediate skill of Excel, Word and PowerPoint – Advanced preferred
- Able to read and understand highly technical material relating to medications and medical equipment.
- Language skills (ie, proficient in English – verbal and written)
- Able to communicate across varying levels up to and including Senior management.
- Experience in a supply chain role, preferably in a medical supplies environment.
- Experience in Good Distribution Practice. (Preferred)
- International buying experience. (preferred)
- Experience in multi-site remote operations. (preferred)
- Experience in the improvement or development of complex supply processes. (Preferred)
