We are currently hiring a Waterjet Operator / Programmer in Corona, Ca! You'll handle setup, run our cutting machines. programming, and maintenance to produce top-quality parts. Safety and attention to detail are key.
Shift: Monday - Friday 7AM - 3:30PM (availability to work overtime as needed).
RESPONSABILITIES:
Handle materials for machines.
Work independently on assigned tasks.
Operate waterjet cutting machines to cut materials according to specifications.
Load and unload materials onto the waterjet machine safely and efficiently.
Set up cutting parameters such as pressure, speed, and abrasive flow.
Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and accuracy of cuts.
Perform routine maintenance on the waterjet machine to ensure optimal performance.
Inspect finished pieces for quality control purposes.
Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise during the cutting process.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Follow safety protocols and procedures at all times.
Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
Qualifications:
2+ years programming or operating Waterjet.
Read blueprints effectively.
Use precision measuring tools.
Know various metal types and grades.
Able to lift/move up to 50 lbs.
