Water Technician

Connect Talent Solutions, one of Hampton Roads fastest growing companies is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Water Technicians to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for responding to water damage emergencies and performing water damage restoration services for residential and commercial properties. You will be expected to assess the extent of the damage, develop a restoration plan, and execute the plan to return the property to its pre-loss condition.

Responsibilities:

• Respond to water damage emergencies and perform initial assessment of the damage
• Develop a restoration plan and provide a detailed estimate of the work required
• Perform water extraction, drying, dehumidification, and disinfection of affected areas
• Remove damaged materials and dispose of them properly
• Install and monitor specialized equipment such as dehumidifiers and air movers
• Work with insurance adjusters and communicate progress of the restoration project
• Maintain documentation of the restoration process and provide necessary reports
• Ensure that all work is performed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company policies and industry standards
  
  

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent, with additional training or certifications in water damage restoration preferred
• No experience necessary (water damage restoration experience a plus)
• Strong knowledge of industry standards, procedures, and equipment related to water damage restoration
• Ability to assess and prioritize tasks in a high-stress, fast-paced environment
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good physical condition and ability to lift heavy equipment and materials
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
