Lead Technical Recruiter/Account Manager @ VIA Technical
One of our clients is looking to bring on a remote Mid Level Windows System Admin. They are a global leader in the design, development, and operations of cyberinfrastructure. They support hundreds of multidisciplinary programs spanning a wide variety of domains, from earth sciences and biology to astrophysics, bioinformatics, and health IT.
Remote but California or PST/ MST/ CST time zones preferred.
Contract, though potential to convert to full time.
Seeking:
Windows Security Patch Management
Should have Active Directory Experience (Managing users, groups, NTFS Permissions, etc.)
Windows Server Troubleshooting Experience
PowerShell experience a plus
Office 365 Experience a plus
Any Azure / AWS experience a plus
VMware experience a plus
Horizon View (VDI) experience a plus
Jira service desk / Help desk experience – End user support experience helpful
Must be able to work some off-hours as some customer systems cannot be taken down during business hours. Can be flexible with hours (Example: Can work M-TH, take Friday off and work Saturday or Can work 10am-7pm on some days as necessary to accommodate customer needs) This are just examples. Schedule may vary depending on customer needs during that week.
