The Recruiting Consultant will “bridge the gap” between the business and technical teams by solving complex Workday intersystem problems. They will be responsible for leading and managing the implementation of Workday Recruiting solutions for our clients. This role requires a deep understanding of the Workday Recruiting module, corporate recruiting experience, and the ability to collaborate effectively with clients and internal teams.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end implementation of Workday Recruiting workstream, including planning, configuration, testing, and deployment.
  • Reinforces company policies and procedures to others.
  • Helps others by driving, organizing, and assigning tasks within a project workstream in order to drive efficient completion and achieve project goals.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their business requirements and translate them into effective Workday Recruiting configurations, supporting them through all phases within the project.
  • Perform multiple tasks under limited direction, while regularly keeping the client, the project team, and the Engagement Manager abreast of changes or progress related to the project.
  • Willingness to take a leadership position on a project, or as a Cognizant or Workday product Partner Lead and/or Delivery Assurance Reviewer.
  • Display your hands-on expertise of the software, including loading client data, moving configuration from tenant to tenant, and configuring business processes and security.
  • Utilize your technical aptitude to convert and map data sources into data conversion templates.
  • Act as a mentor to fellow consultants and analysts, including providing support for shadow assignments.
  • Actively participate in update training and internal opportunities to share one’s skills and learnings with others within the organization.
  • Additional duties as assigned by manager.

Skills & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of Workday Recruiting experience
  • 2-5 years of industry knowledge as a corporate recruiter with an understanding of recruiting concepts such as candidate and requisition management, offer letter design, and job boards.
  • Experience gathering business requirements, designing and prototyping, testing, and implementing practical business solutions under multiple deadlines.
  • Minimal travel required, but must be willing to travel on-site if needed
