Job Responsibilities

Under broad supervision, responsible for assessing, planning and/or coordinating training sessions for an agency. Performs end-to-end learning and development. Evaluates training and learning outcomes in relation to functional and/or technical training activities.

Primary Responsibilities

• Assess training and development needs.
• Develops appropriate, job-relevant and sound training as identified by training needs assessments.
• Presents information using a variety of instructional techniques.
• Implements agency’s Workforce Development Plan.
• Coordinates new-hire employee orientation.
• May assist with training on the employee performance and appraisal program.
• Prepare, train, and respond to Public Health Emergencies as directed within the scope of your work. Expectations: Complete a personal emergency plan. Participates in emergency preparedness trainings, drills, and exercises, as directed. In the event of a public health emergency, participates in the emergency response activities, within DHEART Team assignment or otherwise as directed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
  
  

Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or GED AND Three years of experience providing educational, training or instructional services in functional area.
