Gallup

Workplace Advisory Consulting Intern — Summer 2025

Gallup Washington, DC

Job Description

Gallup is accepting applications from Tuesday, Sept. 3, through Friday, Nov. 1, 2024, for summer 2025 internships. Apply early for priority consideration.

As a workplace advisory consulting intern at Gallup, you’re more than “just an intern.” You’re an integral part of our team, our culture and the impact we make on organizations. Working with some of the most engaged coworkers in the world, you will be part of an advisory team whose mission is to help organizations solve their greatest challenges and seize their greatest opportunities.

What You’ll Do

Gallup’s consulting internship is a combination of learning, researching and executing important work for real clients. Each week, you will have individual and team meetings where you will learn, collect feedback and collaborate on consulting work. You will also design, implement and present an employee engagement project as part of this internship.

Throughout the program, mentors, managers and experts will guide you on a journey to achieve professional excellence. We will invest in your business knowledge, presentation skills, survey data analysis and delivery of key recommendations to organizational leaders — all while focusing on your strengths and career development.

Our teams produce great work together, inspire each other to deliver exceptional outcomes, grow their potential and celebrate each other along the way. Learn more about what it’s like to work at Gallup.

  • Competitive team players who want to win, develop strong relationships, and exceed teammates’ and clients’ expectations
  • Continual learners who are interested in improving workplaces, uncovering data-driven insights, producing powerful presentations and creating client-centric solutions
  • Strategic communicators who connect effectively with their audience, present insights with sophistication and confidence, and think critically as they improve employee experiences

What You Need

  • Enrollment in an undergraduate program, with anticipated graduation by spring 2026
  • Experience in project management, business development, fundraising, recruitment, sales or entrepreneurial efforts in school, volunteering, internships or professional work
  • Demonstrated leadership experience and outstanding performance in education, volunteer activities and professional work
  • Availability to work 40 hours per week for 12 weeks during the summer
  • Availability to work Monday-Thursday in our Washington, D.C., office, with an option to work remotely on Fridays
  • Must currently attend a college or university within a 250-mile radius of Washington, D.C.
  • Eligibility to work in the United States; this position is not eligible for employment visa sponsorship
  • A collaborative office environment and access to exciting public-facing events and our hub for thought leadership — all situated in our recently renovated global headquarters in Washington, D.C., nestled within the nation’s capital and steps away from the National Mall and other historic landmarks
