Youth Soccer Sports Official

The YMCA of Northern Colorado is seeking Soccer Officials for our youth programs. The position is part time. You will rotate game and scorekeeping duties with another official.

Salary range starts at $15-$18/hour based on experience and certifications. State certified officials will earn $25/hour. In addition, we offer a +10% differential for bilingual staff who test as fluent in Spanish and English.

The Youth Soccer Sports Official will provide leadership to all participants and coaches by knowing, understanding, and implementing the rules of the game and ensuring the safety of the playing area. Officials will make sure the overall program runs smoothly and safely with all games starting and ending on schedule. If this season isn't a match, please check our website.

Qualifications

• Age 16 years or older
• Significant involvement with the sport and/or experience officiating
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• CPR/First Aid/AED certification within 30 days
• Fair, direct and agreeable attitude
  
  
  

All Employees receive a free individual membership and anyone working 10+ hours receive a free family membership, 50-100% off our programs and if eligible, we contribute the equivalent of 12% of your salary to the YMCA Retirement Fund. Childcare benefits of more than $5000 are considered taxable income and will be processed accordingly. Limitations and restrictions apply to some programs.

Part-Time employees also receive paid sick time of 1 hour for every 30 hours worked.
