- [Narrator] Don't wait until you get your cell phone bill. You can monitor your Android's mobile data consumption right on the device. Open the Settings app, choose Network & internet, and you're looking for the mobile network, which on this device is accessed via the SIMs item. A graph details mobile data consumption. You see that mobile data is on here and roaming is disabled, so this device uses only the subscribed network. Roaming allows your phone to access service outside your data provider's network but at an extra cost. App data usage shows which apps use the mobile data network for uploading and downloading information. Be aware that this data usage information may not match up 100% with what your cellular provider measures. Always check your account on the service for the specifics.
