- [Instructor] Before you create any Android Studio projects, it's a good idea to update the Android SDK. And make sure you have all the components you need to support your Android app. From this version of the welcome screen, go to More Actions and choose STK Manager. Or you can go to the customized link, and go to All Settings, and go to the SDK Manager under System Settings, which is under Appearance and Behavior. Either way, you'll see a listing of three tabs at the top: SDK Platforms, SDK Tools, and SDK Update Sites. The Android STK Location shows you where you installed the SDK. Notice that there are many versions of the Android STK available. Each one is attached to a particular version of Android. And has that Android version number, the letter or sweet snack code associated with that version of Android, and an API level. It's important to know which API level you're targeting when you build your Android apps.…
