As such, they have a surplus of demand with a delay in delivery of custom hammocks up to three to six months. The IT department at Hank's moved into the cloud five years ago and brags about their cloud-only deployment. They use 10 storage servers and 20 compute servers to support their business operations, including inventory, production, sales, and logistics. The business requirements for Hank's are access to storage servers should only be allowed during core business hours, 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday. On the compute server, there is access to cloud service, or APIs, that completes the sale. This service can only be invoked by those on the sales staff.
