The creative process

- [Narrator] Graphic design is about problem solving through visual communication. And the creative process is a way we can describe the journey from identifying the initial problem through to the design that aims to achieve the desired outcome. Although the process may vary depending on whether it is your own project or something that is client led, but typically it begins with a brief, then it moves through three key stages. Research involves gathering all of the necessary information for the project. Ideation is the fab creative phase where ideas are generated and various designs are developed. And production where the designs are transformed into artwork for digital, print, or both. Now, let's take a more detailed look at each stage and if you are taking notes, you'll already have the headings for this section ready.
