Masking for selected edits

- [Instructor] Lightroom now has powerful masking tools for selective editing. These masks were added since the original recording of this course, and there's so much to know about masks that I recorded a complete masking course. Here, I'll give you a quick demo of Lightroom Classic masks to give you an idea of how you might use them. Masks are found with the last icon and the tool strip, the one here that looks like a circle. You can click on that or press the M key to open masks. This gives us the options for all the different type of masks that we can create. The top three use artificial intelligence to find a subject or a sky in a landscape image or the background of your subject. The following are more manually applied. The first one, Objects, allows you to paint over something to create a selection of that. We'll get to that in a moment.
