- [Instructor] In this movie, I'll discuss the differences between beds and objects when mixing in Dolby Atmos. Then I'll show you how to export your Dolby Atmos mix to the correct format. Let's start out by pointing out the distinction of a bed track. A bed track is a traditional surround output track mapping to specific surround speakers. So for example, we have this organ track right here, and this is an instrument track by the way. But you can see it's still mapping to a surround output. And I know it's a bed track because it has this circular traditional surround output panner. Let me double click on this panner and we can see that here. Now remember, I can still pan this around as a bed track and I'll go ahead and solo the track and I'll pan it around. You can hear it even through the binaural renderer.
