How to provide feedback remotely
- Feedback is absolutely critical in any organization and in virtual workspace. Feedback is one of the critical components of making sure that your employees are staying on the right track. In this lesson, I will share with you some strategies for providing feedback that will keep your remote team engaged and motivated. First, you need to know the basics of giving feedback remotely and how it differs from in-person feedback. Giving feedback can be challenging to get right even in an in-person environment, but it's a lot easier to give them timely feedback in-person. Brief, touch-base conversations or casual peer reviews are less likely to happen in a virtual environment. So you need to make sure that you are proactive in addressing any issues immediately. When you need to offer feedback, be prepared and pick the right channel. Maybe a simple conversation for simple fixes or even a comment in just a shared document…
