- You've successfully launched your product. Woo-hoo, congratulations! So, now what? The product launch is not the happily ever after of your work. Instead, it's just a new chapter to the ongoing story of your product. There are three post launch activities that will take the momentum from a great product launch, and keep it going beyond those early days. First, get to know your early adopters. Who are those first few customers that purchased your product? When my team and I launched IDOU, an online learning platform, we really got to know our customers. We looked them up in LinkedIn and found out where they worked and what they did. Then we reached out to them to understand what they'd hoped to achieve by making the purchase. This helped us to continue building out the experience on the platform, and tap into what motivated these customers. It taught us more about our target demographic's needs and desires.
