- [Narrator] The critical part of inventory is knowing how much of a product or raw material you have on hand. The inventory tab of the inventory master item contains that and a whole lot more. So go ahead and let's click this Inventory Data tab and see what's in there. You'll see on top, it's got set inventory method by warehouse. It's got unit of measure name and weight. It's got a valuation method, which we're going to go into a lot deeper a little later. And we've got some inventory level stuff that's calculated, but the really important part is this part on the bottom here is this table and I'm going to scroll that up a little bit so you can see it. And let's scroll up a little bit here so we can see all our major warehouses and we've got the General Warehouse, Warehouse for the West Coast, and a bunch of other specialized warehouses. Now, a warehouse is a location, real or imaginary, that contains inventory. So…
