Copying and pasting in SAP
- [Instructor] Copying and pasting can be quirky in the SAP GUI. I've worked with many SAP users frustrated by not being able to copy and paste easily in the system. The way to do it is not always consistent, but we're about to clear that up. First, let's look in a report. We'll enter transaction code VA05 and we'll execute this report. To copy and paste in a report, we can simply left-click and hover over the columns and rows that we want to highlight. Now we'll use a keyboard shortcut. Control and C. We can see that the data we copied has changed to a grid indicating that it has been copied successfully. Now we'll open a WordPad, and to paste, we'll press Control and V. We can see that we've copied and pasted successfully from a report. Let's hop back in our system. Now we'll go into a regular transaction. We'll go into the create sales order transaction. We'll put /N for new transaction and enter VA01.…
