- By this point in this learning resource, you are either thrilled at the opportunity team coaching offers to add value to your clients or shopped at how much learning you've still got to do. If you decide to go on the journey, four things will help you. First is gaining a team coach accreditation. The European Mentoring and Coaching Council, now EMCC Global, offers a route most closely aligned to university postgraduate qualifications, and then several other professional bodies have certification routes. The International Coach Federation, the Association for Coaching, also have team coach accreditations. There are enough offerings to give you a good selection. Secondly, read widely. 15 years ago, there were almost no books on team coaching. Now, my bookshelf has 40 or more.
