- [Rick] In this video, we'll take a look at the vCenter Appliance Management Interface or VAMI for my vCenter 8 server. And in our last video, we installed the vCenter Server Appliance and we launched the vSphere Web Client. Well, we're going to go to a different interface. So the vSphere Web Client is going to be used to do things like create virtual machines or manage ESXi hosts or manage data stores. But if I want to manage the vCenter Server Appliance itself, I need to go to the VAMI. And you can see the address here, it's just the address of the vCenter Server Appliance :5480. So if I put in that address, it should bring me to the login page for the VAMI. And again, this is specifically for the purposes of managing the vCenter Server Appliance itself, not for managing VMs or virtual switches or anything like that. So we'll go ahead and put in our root credentials here. And we established root credentials when we were setting up our vCenter Server Appliance. And so here we are at…
