- How many of us have started with our own New Year's resolutions only to repeat the same one the next year? That three months in we've given up. Just like change work, it's not a poor reflection of you. Change work is hard and getting changes to stick is even harder. You have loaded your toolbox with many tips on what not to do while doing change work. And so now's the time to use the checklist and tip sheets in the course exercise files as you work on change efforts. Jump back in and pick the video that represents the situation you're facing. Print out the cheat sheet while watching the video and pause the video to reflect on what you're doing. Answer those questions in each area about what is or is not happening. And keep using good questions throughout all your endeavors. Ask frequently, things like, am I looking at the change from all angles? Am I considering all the people involved, impacted or concerned?
