How to use the rotary drilling rig to excavate the square type anti-skid pile? The steps for excavating square anti-slide piles using rotary drilling machines mainly include the following: Firstly, prepare the construction site by clearing the area to ensure safe and convenient equipment operation. Check the pile position coordinates according to the construction drawings, use a total station to accurately set out the pile positions, and mark the four corners. Next, use the rotary drilling machine to drill out the soil in the middle of the square pile hole, and then use specially made corner and edge bits to trim the four corners and sides of the square pile until the designed hole depth is reached. The cutting speed should be stable and uniform to ensure the quality of the formed hole. During the hole-forming process, attention should be paid to the stability of the hole wall to avoid collapse. After hole-forming, perform hole cleaning and measure the depth. Then, place the steel cage and tremie, conduct a second hole cleaning, and finally pour underwater concrete to form the anti-slide pile. #Excavation #HeavyMachinery #ConstructionEquipment #MiningTech #RotaryExcavation #FoundationWork #IndustrialMachinery #SquareExcavation #ConstructionSolutions #EngineeringInnovation

🚇 Sinorock R-Thread Self-Drilling Anchor Bolts – Ensuring Tunnel Safety in Challenging Ground Conditions! 🚇 In a recent tunnel construction project with poor geological conditions, including Class V fractured rock and loose soil, traditional pipe roofing faced drilling difficulties, low efficiency, and slow excavation progress. Collapses and drill jamming were frequent issues. To overcome these challenges, Sinorock R-Thread Self-Drilling Anchor Bolts were used as forepoling during tunnel excavation. Their self-drilling design allowed simultaneous drilling, grouting, and anchoring, preventing hole collapse while providing effective temporary support. This solution protected workers and equipment throughout the excavation phase. Upon tunnel breakthrough, steel arches, mesh installation, and shotcrete application were completed for permanent support. The installed anchor bolts remained embedded in the rock, continuing to reinforce the tunnel structure. Sinorock’s self-drilling anchor system ensured faster drilling, enhanced safety, and improved construction efficiency in complex ground conditions. 💪 Build safer tunnels with Sinorock’s proven solutions! 👉 Welcome visit our website: www.sinorockco.com 👉 Get Free Quotes: sinorock@sinorockco.com 👉 WhatsApp/Wechat: +8617539592302 #TunnelConstruction #GroundSupport #Sinorock #SelfDrillingAnchor #GeotechnicalEngineering #ConstructionSolutions

An important part of bored pile construction is the cleaning and inspection of the bottom of the hole prior to the placement of reinforcement and concrete. To achieve cleaning once drilling is complete, a cleanout bucket is typically used to remove any material unsuitable for end bearing support. Bottom inspection is then performed, often by lowering a camera down the bore hole, a procedure that gives a rough idea of the thickness of any debris left at the bottom. To improve the inspection method, GRL Engineers utilize a Shaft Quantitative Inspection Device (SQUID) to measure force and displacement at the bottom of a drilled hole to quantitatively assess the cleanliness or the debris thickness of the excavation bottom. Tunnelling in rock using the drill and blast method is a well-established technique that involves drilling a series of holes into the rock face, loading them with explosives, and then detonating them to break the rock into manageable pieces. This method is particularly effective in hard rock conditions, allowing for precise control over the excavation process. Rock drill machine for tunnel excavate When it comes to tunnel excavation, selecting the appropriate rock drill machine is crucial for efficiency, safety, and overall project success. Various types of machines are used based on the specific requirements of the tunnel project, the geological conditions, and the desired tunnel size. For tunnel excavation, the choice of rock drill machine—be it a Tunnel Boring Machine (TBM), roadheader, Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD) rig, or traditional drilling and blasting methods—depends on the specific project requirements, geological conditions, and desired outcomes. Each machine type offers unique advantages and is suited to particular scenarios, making it essential to conduct thorough planning and geological assessments before selecting the appropriate equipment for tunnel excavation. #cementmixer #tunnel #hydropower #heavymachine #concretepump #concrete #trailcocretepump #concretebuilding #concretepumpmachine #concretelinemachine #wetsprayingmachine #shotcretemachine #manufacturer #factory #truckmountedconcretepump #truckmountedconcretemachine #usedshotcretemachine #usedwetshotcretemachine #usedboompump #usedtruckedboompump #rockdrillingmachine #longarmwetsprayingmachine #boompump #concretepump #soilspraying #threeinone #concretemachine #wetshotcretemachine #shotcretemachine #25mboompump #25mshotcrete #25msoilspraying #25mlongarmshotcrete #25mroboticshotcrete

Pile alignment control Maintaining correct pile’s verticality or inclination during installation is a key factor for construction survey. When piles move out of alignment tolerance, it is often due to control issues with hammer-pile alignment or to soil conditions. If due to poor hammer-pile alignment control, a pile gate, template, or fixed lead system may improve the ability to maintain alignment tolerance. Soil conditions, such as near-surface obstructions or steeply sloping bedrock having minimal overburden material, can also disrupt alignment. The pile’s position can change after each hammer hit or during drilling, therefore constant position change monitoring is needed. Modern practices, used mostly for piles driven on waterbodies, involve use of several instruments, such as total stations and inclinometers. #piling #surveying #marineconstruction

The drill and blast method can be used for constructing shafts in rock, similar to its use in tunnelling. In both cases, explosives are placed in drilled holes to fracture the rock, allowing for excavation. However, in shaft construction, the drilled holes are oriented vertically downward, whereas in tunneling, they are drilled horizontally. Despite this difference in drilling direction, the underlying principle remains the same: controlled blasting breaks the rock into manageable pieces for removal. We have covered all tunnel and shaft construction methods in our Online Tunnel Engineering course. Drill and Blast Method for Rock Drilling in Tunnel Construction:
"Mastering the Underground: The Precision and Power of the Drill and Blast Method in Tunnel Construction" The drill and blast method is a traditional technique used in tunnel construction. It involves drilling a pattern of holes into the rock face, which are then filled with explosives. Upon detonation, the blast fractures the rock, allowing it to be excavated. The process is repeated in cycles, consisting of drilling, blasting, mucking (removing blasted material), and supporting the tunnel with reinforcements like shotcrete and rock bolts. This method is highly effective for hard rock tunneling, offering flexibility in varying geological conditions and enabling the construction of complex tunnel geometries. Despite its effectiveness, it requires careful planning and control to manage vibrations, minimize overbreak, and ensure the safety of workers and surrounding structures. video rights : respective owners DM for credits and removals #blasting #tunnel #engineering #construction #civilconstruction #civilengineering #engenhariacivil #engenharia
