He played his heart out for commuters walking past.   His instrument – a Stradivarius violin valued at over $3,000,000 USD!   You would think that someone so famous playing such a beautiful instrument would draw a large crowd, especially since he was giving a concert for free. After all, he can command huge audiences with ticket prices over $1300 USD each!   But no one noticed him.   As part of a social experiment organized by The Washington Post, results showed that of the 1,097 people who passed him by, only seven stopped to listen during the 45-minute concert.   In total, he collected a mere $32.17 from 27 people.
