Unpacking whole-of-government #Robo servicing and #Automation A laughable and dangerous claim that #PACE will lead to a 10% reduction in cost to serve - with no business case. How can a statement like that be made, and taken as gospel, when according to the #NDIA, the future costs of #Salesforce beyond NEXT YEAR, are not known - or not revealed. But let’s not worry about the fact that the #NDIS is not a sales and marketing program - but service delivery where human life is on the line. This is not pretty marketing stuff guys. This is all about #Automation notwithstanding the capacity of people to survive in an #Automated environment. Yes I know the claim, this is a CRM - so why not #Microsoft? The uncapped #NDIA cost alone so far has to be north of $200 million - not just $124 million licensing- when staff costs, specialist Salesforce consulting and contractor resources are factored in. So in a market of extremely scarce and expensive specialist technical skills, it’s impossible for a partially factored “business case” which doesn’t go beyond 2025 to yield a 10% reduction. And that as they say, is the history of tech economics. This is yet another example of the hapless #DTA doing the tech companies bidding across government - creating a new massive market for specialist and eye wateringly expensive skills - at the very same time that the #APS leadership is scratching their heads over the #APS skills implosion and ongoing tech disasters. It’s not rocket science guys. Making it WoG doesn’t make it value for money. Katy Gallagher, Bill Shorten do you know what the all up costs of a WoG #PACE would be? No? Thought not. Indeed, the not so hidden story, is that this is about WoG #Automation and #Robo servicing. #RoboDebt remains as a strategy and #RoboNDIS is exploding. Read my Substack article in comments below. Then there are the mysterious ‘lessons learned’ the #DTA is referring to. There is outrage on participant forums over the problems with #PACE - disrupted payments, lost documents, locked out - check out my post just a week ago about lost documents, lost data API exposures. https://lnkd.in/dcxPWwfy . Of course, these would not be the sanitised ‘lessons learned’ the #DTA is referring to, believing instead the #NDIA version of reality.
