For anyone considering a career in law, applying for our intern programme is a great first step!

Intern or employee for 2 years? 🤔 That's the question I asked myself during my experience at PwC Luxembourg. 🇱🇺 Arriving for a 6-month financial audit internship, I leave the company today with the feeling of resigning from my position as an employee with two years of seniority. You might think that my feeling is related to the fact that time has passed very quickly? I would be wrong to say no, but that's not the main reason! ➡ The real reason is that I was given my CHANCE 🍀 : the chance to demonstrate what I could bring to the team, as well as my desire to discover and learn, which ultimately represents the very essence of an internship. Of course, without prior experience, one cannot claim to perform certain tasks. But being involved in meetings, being entrusted with responsibilities just as interesting and important as those of employees, complemented by careful and constructive follow-up, ultimately constitutes an ideal for any intern looking to make the most of their internship. Far from feeling like an intern assigned "to intern tasks," this internship far exceeded my initial expectations. That's why I would particularly like to thank the team of my last mission, which represented a large part of this internship. Thank you to you, Nicholas, mission manager, for this chance you gave me, Mévrick Jolo and Yassine Mordi for very high-quality coachings that allowed me to evolve more quickly within the mission. I would also like to particularly thank the person who followed my development and allowed me to make the most of this internship, Adriana Vojtkova. As you can see, it's thanks to this trust and opportunity given by my team that I experienced my internship not just as a simple introduction to the professional world, but as the enriching experience of a confirmed employee. This personal enrichment as an intern was incredibly rewarding and has undoubtedly set a new standard for what I hope for from future opportunities. 🚀 ➡ The results of this internship ? ▪ Actively participated in investment fund audits, assessing the financial compliance of financial statements. ▪Refined my expertise in financial regulations, as well as in the analysis of balance sheets and income statements. ▪Worked in an international environment, thus enriching my collaborative and cultural skills. ▪Acquired a solid mastery of Excel and audit software, improving the processing of financial data. ▪And of course, made beautiful encounters, adding invaluable value to this experience. #internship #financialaudit #PwCLuxembourg (PS: Be lenient with AI, it's learning too.. 😅 🔽 )

Decision Making: Ask for help, engage with peers, and use constructive criticism. Method: Identify - Analyze - Solve. People Skills: Adapt communication, and build relationships through teamwork and social events. IT Skills: Show proactivity and a positive attitude towards learning. Professionalism: Use business language, be honest, and build trust. Commercial Awareness: Research the commercial world and your sector thoroughly. Doing Internship with Company Secretary exams. Let's begin by acknowledging the challenges first: •One of the primary challenges is the demanding work hours. Interns often find themselves working long and strenuous hours, balancing their studies with real-world responsibilities. • Another challenge is the pressure to excel. The exams for these professional courses are notoriously tough, and students are expected to perform exceptionally well in both their exams and their internship. • Moreover, the financial constraints during internship cannot be ignored. Many students have to manage their expenses while earning modest stipends, which can be financially challenging. PwC recently announced the removal of explicit diversity criteria for its internship program, following legal pressure from America First Legal. PwC has worked to increase their Black and Latino workforce representation by 37% since 2020.
