Patrick Andersen joined East Rock Capital in 2007. He has contributed to building East Rock’s current portfolio of managers, fostering multiple seed relationships and partnering with managers to help them hone their talent and develop new areas of expertise. Patrick previously worked at Luxor Capital and Putnam Investments. He graduated from Williams College with a BA in Mathematics and Economics. Patrick has run the New York City marathon for over a decade to raise money for Foyer Espoir Les Enfants, an orphanage and school in Haiti. Anne Gibson joined East Rock Capital in 2018. Last month, 100 Women In Finance’s Singapore Education committee organized an event exploring the “The Case for Investing in China”, hosted by Winton. Tiffany Gu, Head of Business Development, Greater China, Winton and Marie Chew, CFA, Executive Director, Head of Funds & Alternatives, South East Asia, UBS Global Wealth Management, shared their perspectives on the evolving landscape in China before and after the pandemic. They discussed the growth of the commodity futures market, regulatory developments supporting this expansion, and whether a dedicated allocation to China is still justified. The session was moderated by Ashlesha Vaishampayan, CAIA, Co-Chair of the 100WF Singapore Committee. The informative session was followed by a lunch, providing our members with the opportunity to network and build new connections.
