On World Health Day, we want to remind you that only 4% of all federal funding for cancer research is allocated to childhood cancer projects, and that is not nearly enough to help our littlest warriors. Not only is the lack of funding a critical issue, but the side effects from the current treatments have lasting side effects. Today is a great opportunity to spread awareness of the need for funding so we can find less toxic, and more therapeutic treatments for pediatric cancer warriors. Donate today and #HelpFundTheCure https://lnkd.in/drvpDmGp

(Incoming) Legal Executive @ member firm of Baker McKenzie International | BTC LLM (Distinction) | UN Delegate (WIPO, ECOSOC, etc.) 🔗 Follow me for tips and resources!
This month, I committed to walking 100 miles for Breast Cancer Now. 🎀 I initially assumed it would be manageable—just over 3 miles each day. But as the month unfolded, I quickly learned it wasn’t as simple as I’d imagined. Busy schedules, changing plans, and unexpected commitments turned what seemed like an “easy feat” into a real challenge. Here’s what I took away from this challenge: • 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘆𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗶𝘀𝗻’𝘁 𝗮𝗹𝘄𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘃𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁: It’s about adapting and making the effort, even on tiring days. • 𝗔 𝘄𝗮𝗹𝗸 𝗰𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗱: A quick loop around the quays gave me time to unwind and reset. The fresh air and shift of pace helped me return to tasks with a calmer, clearer perspective. • 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝗻 𝗮𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗱 𝗳𝗼𝗿 “𝗯𝘂𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗿” 𝗱𝗮𝘆𝘀: Anticipate days when you may fall short of your goal and schedule extra mileage on flexible days to stay on track. Looking ahead, I’m excited to take on new challenges—not only to support worthy causes but to continue pushing my own limits. If you’d like to support, the link is below. Every 10 minutes, a woman in the UK is diagnosed with breast cancer. 🎀 Breast Cancer Now provides crucial support and hope for a future without it. Every bit helps—thank you to all who have contributed. 💗

On this World Health Day, let us take a moment to consider those affected by brain cancer in Australia and the challenges they face. Despite brain cancer being the leading cause of cancer death among individuals under 40, survival rates for brain cancer have seen minimal improvement over the past three decades. This highlights the importance of investing in innovative research that challenges the status quo and helps advance therapies. Your support today can make a difference in the lives of those battling this disease. Consider donating at https://lnkd.in/gcdQTym #WorldHealthDay #HealthForAll #BrainCancerAwareness #SurvivalRates #ResearchMatters #BrainCancerResearch

We need transformative change to advance progress on the treatment of ovarian cancer
Today, on World Ovarian Cancer Day, we unite to demand action. This year, an estimated 3,100 Canadian women will receive an ovarian cancer diagnosis — three-quarters of these women will discover their condition at a late stage. When we stand hand-in-hand we ignite change. Thanks to your support, the brightest, boldest, and most innovative minds are actively working with patients to tackle this disease. Your support today, doubled up to $30,000 thanks to the generous match from Erin and her husband Tom, will catalyze the advancements in research and care we desperately need. Donate today and join us, as we call for transformative change: https://lnkd.in/gSVHVCQy

Psalm 82:3-4 "Defend the weak and the fatherless; uphold the cause of the poor and the oppressed. Rescue the weak and the needy; deliver them from the hand of the wicked" Join me in supporting Sean in his battle against Brain Cancer (Reoccurring Medulloblastoma). This rare cancer type, typically affecting children, presents unique challenges for adults like Sean. Despite the uncertainty of its treatment plan, Sean is making positive strides as the tumors shrink. However, this journey is expected to last at least a year, if not two. Sean's treatment regimen involves daily oral chemotherapy, weekly Intrathecal injections, and bi-monthly Intravenous chemo. Your donation, big or small, can significantly aid Sean on his path to recovery. Consider sharing Sean's story on social media to amplify support for his fight against Brain Cancer. Let's unite to stand by Sean during this challenging time. #helpingsean #seanzahul To contribute and discover more about Sean's journey, visit: https://lnkd.in/egYtfBV7
